Lockdown lifted, 1 in custody after security breach at Detroit Metro

DETROIT – One person is in custody after a security breach at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

The breach, which was at the McNamara Terminal, caused the terminal to shut down for a short time while it was searched.

Local 4 has learned someone tried to get past security at the connecting Westin Hotel.

All planes in the McNamara terminal were also grounded for a short time.

No other details were immediately released.
