DETROIT – Strategic Staffing Solutions is the new title sponsor of the annual Turkey Trot in downtown Detroit.
The Parade Company made the announcement during a news conference Thursday morning at Campus Martius Park. That means this year's installment of the Thanksgiving morning run will be known officially as "The 33rd Annual Strategic Staffing Solutions Turkey Trot." Check out the new logo above.
Detroit's Turkey Trot boasts one of the nation's largest runs on Thanksgiving morning with both 10k and 5k runs. There's also a "Mashed Potato Mile."
The run has been ranked among the nation's best of its kind and has become a Detroit tradition for thousands of runners and parade spectators.
"We are excited to continue to grow our partnership with S3, a Detroit-based company committed to our community and region," said Parade Company President and CEO Tony Michaels. "This is a wonderful new chapter in Turkey Trot history, a race that has become a beloved tradition for Detroiters on Thanksgiving morning."
Fifth Third Bank had been the title sponsor for years.
Strategic Staffing Solutions has been the title sponsor of the Turkey Trot 5k run known as the "Strategic Staffing Solutions Stuffing Strut" since 2012. It is an IT and business services company based in Detroit.

Registration for the 33rd Annual Strategic Staffing Solutions Turkey Trot will open at 10 a.m. Monday, June 1 at www.theparade.org.
