Pontiac man hit pregnant woman at Coney Island, police say
Man allegedly tossed narcotics while fleeing on foot

PONTIAC – Oakland County sheriff's deputies arrested a 25-year-old Pontiac man for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman early Saturday morning near Universal Coney Island.
Deputies were called to the 800 block of Perry Street to disperse a large disorderly crowd of people gathered in the restaurant's parking lot and lobby.
Deputies saw an argument between a man and a 23-year-old pregnant woman and witnessed the man striking her.
The man fled on foot. He was pursued and arrested by deputies.
Deputies also found an "extensive amount of narcotics" that the man allegedly tossed while fleeing.
The man was taken to the Oakland County Jail and charges are pending.
