NOVI, Mich. – Police in Novi are searching for a man who robbed a Flagstar Bank about 10 a.m. Saturday at 39900 8 Mile Road.
Police say he entered the bank and approached a bank employee at her cubicle. The man said he wanted to make a cash withdrawal but then changed the tone and announced it was a robbery.

He demanded the bank employee open the cash drawer. She obliged and the man reached into the drawer and swiped an undisclosed amount of cash.
He fled the bank on foot. Police say he never showed or implied he had a weapon.
Robber description:
He is described as a black man between 32 and 37 years old. He is about 6-feet-4 or 6-feet-5 inches tall and weighs between 200 and 230 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a thin beard.
He was wearing a black T-shirt, black basketball shorts with white sides, a baseball cap, white socks and white gym shoes.
