Rep. Courser posts statement on Facebook
DETROIT – State Rep. Todd Courser posted a statement to his Facebook page Sunday evening pertaining to the scandal he is currently involved in.
A Michigan House leader on Friday requested an investigation into allegations that state Rep. Todd Courser orchestrated the distribution of a fictional email claiming he had sex with a male prostitute in a bid to conceal an extramarital relationship with a fellow Michigan lawmaker.
Courser posted the following to his Facebook page:
"I want to thank all of you who have offered up your prayers and support these last few days; it has meant the world to myself and my family. Given all that is happening around me I have felt it was appropriate to simply take some time and reflect and simply pray."
