Sheriff's office: man climbed through window, touched sleeping young girls

PONTIAC, Mich. – A man climbed through the window of a home in Pontiac and touched two young girls while they slept early Sunday morning, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office says.

The 7-year-old and 10-year-old were in the home on Anderson Street with three other children and their grandmother.

The sheriff's office said the grandmother told them the 7-year-old woke her up around 5:15 a.m. to say there was someone in the home. The grandmother saw a man run to the front of the home and jump out a window.

The 7-year-old said the man had touched her on her lips and mouth with his finger, and the 10-year-old said she was touched on her legs, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies found footprints in the snow that indicated someone had climbed in and out of a window at the home, the sheriff's office said. A K-9 was brought in, but no one was found.

The sheriff's office describes the man as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build with squared-off braids near the top of the neckline. A tattoo, possibly a heart, was seen on the back of his neck. He was wearing a blue plaid winter coat with a burgundy coat and Nike high-tops.
