WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 24-year-old man was arraigned Friday in connection to a series of larcenies and the theft of a vehicle in Waterford Township.
Theodore Richard Lehigh, of White Lake, was charged with unlawfully driving away an automobile, larceny from auto, breaking and entering an auto, and driving with a suspended license.

Waterford officers were called to the 4700 block of Kempf Street on Thursday just before 10 p.m. after a woman looking out her kitchen window saw a man inside her vehicle. She told officers she activated the vehicle’s alarm which caused the man to run away.
As officers checked the area for the suspect, they were flagged down by several other victims who said their vehicles had been entered and items were taken.
While speaking with victims and searching the area, another victim contacted the Waterford Police Department and said their 2006 silver Toyota Scion had been stolen from their driveway in the 4100 block of Midland Avenue, one block north of Kempf Street.
Officers found the Toyota moments later and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Walton Boulevard and Sashabaw Road. Lehigh matched the description of the suspect seen by several of the larceny victims and was taken into custody.
Several items inside the Toyota belonged to victims in the area.
Lehigh was arraigned in the 51st District Court and give a $25,000 bond. He remains lodge at the Oakland County Jail.
The vehicle, along with all of the stolen property in the vehicle, was returned to the owners.
