Man dies after car catches fire in crash with suspected drunk driver

WARREN, Mich. – A 65-year-old Detroit man was killed Wednesday morning when he was hit by suspected drunk driver, family members told Local 4.

Family members said Haleem Goode was heading to pick up his wife from dialysis at about 1:30 a.m. on 8 Mile Road near Ryan Road when his car was rear-ended.

Goode's car caught fire. He died at the scene.

The driver who hit Goode is hospitalized.
