Driver flees scene with license plate after crashing into Detroit medical clinic

DETROIT – A driver fled the scene of an accident on foot Friday morning after crashing into a medical clinic on Detroit’s east side.

The crash happened at Gratiot Avenue and McDougall Street at the Alsan Medical Clinic.

An SUV struck the building's side entrance.

The driver took the license plate off the vehicle and fled.

Inside the SUV, police found a ticket that is registered to the car with a name on it.
