Police situation ends at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills
No description foundFARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A police situation unfolded Friday afternoon at Heritage Park in Farmington Hills, according to police.
Oakland County Sheriff’s SWAT Team was on the scene.
Officers responded to a report of a man in a vehicle. Police said the man is despondent and never threatened anyone at the park.
Everyone was ordered out of the park. Parkgoers were forced to leave their vehicles and were rushed from the area.
More than 80 children were attending a summer camp program and they were safely taken to the Costick Center.
Police said the man is no longer a threat and the situation is resolved.
