Rollover crash leaves 1 dead on Detroit's east side

Detroit police say one man is dead and another has been injured after a rollover crash on Detroit’s east side.

Police say the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Canif when it lost control and hit a tree around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The collision caused the vehicle to roll over.

Detroit police say two men were in the car adding one of the men had died as a result of the crash.

The other man, who police say is a 23-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Detroit police are investigating.
