Woman killed, man injured in shooting in Northwest Detroit

DETROIT – Detectives from the Detroit Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Monday morning in Northwest Detroit.

Police said the shooting happened around midnight on Greenfield Road and the Lodge Freeway service drive.

A woman in her early 20s was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his early 30s was also shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

The man was only able to tell police that a car pulled up next to his and started shooting.  He was unable to provide police with a description of the shooters or the car.
