1 killed, 2 injured in shooting on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – A man was killed and two women were injured in a shooting Tuesday night while sitting in a vehicle on Detroit’s west side.

The shooting happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Montrose Street.

According to police, the victims were sitting in a vehicle when another car rolled up and began shooting.

A 24-year-old man was shot multiple times and was killed.

Two women, ages 21 and 19, were taken to the hospital and are in temporary serious condition.

Police said the shooter’s vehicle was a burgundy Dodge Magnum.
