Man crashes into Madison Heights home, saved by witness before fire spreads
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A suspected drunken driver crashed into a home on Barrington Street in Madison Heights Monday, according to police.
The Madison Heights Police Department responded to a call about a Ford Mustang which crashed into a home, causing a fire.
A man who witnessed the crash was able to pull the driver from the vehicle before it was engulfed by flames. The fire also spread to the home.
The driver was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition, and the sole resident inside the home was not injured.
