The Applebee's/IHOP concept is the first of its kind in the U.S. It will be TSFR's second Applebee's in the city and its first IHOP.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April 2017 with a grand opening in late 2017. The 300-seat co-branded restaurant will feature menu items from both Applebee’s and IHOP, along with a barista coffee bar. TSFR will employ more than 100 people at the restaurant.
TSFR opened the City of Detroit’s first Applebee’s in 2015, making it the first national casual dining restaurant outside the city’s central business district and the company’s 66th Applebee’s restaurant.
In addition to its Applebee’s restaurants, TSFR owns and operates 25 Olga’s Kitchen, five MOD Pizza and four Del Taco restaurants throughout Michigan.
