According to authorities, a deputy was checking businesses at about 2:22 a.m. and noticed a rental van backed into a parking spot near the Orchards Chrysler Dealership.

Deputies noticed that wheels had been removed from vehicles in the dealership lot. Two men were seen heading towards a frozen pond behind the dealership and with the assistance from other police agencies, a perimeter was set up.

K-9 officers began searching and after an hour-long search, Hood and Fox were arrested.

All 16 wheels and tires were found stacked up near a dumpster.

The vehicles targeted were Jeeps, Chargers and Challengers.

Hood and Fox were arraigned Wednesday and were given $50,000 cash-or-surety bonds.
