DETROIT – Quicken Loans is holding its fifth annual "Cupid’s Undie Run" to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation and neurofibromatosis research.
The fundraiser, which is expected to draw more than 1,000 runners, takes place at noon Saturday and starts at The Fillmore.

Last year’s run raised $3.5 million for neurofibromatosis research, and those who raise between $500 and $1,000 will have their donations matched by Dan Gilbert.
“The Undie Run has something for everyone, from the couple looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day for a good cause to the weekend warriors looking for a great party. Runners can show up in their underwear but it’s not a requirement – we’ll have participants in all sorts of costumes on Saturday, from pajama onesies to superhero costumes,” said Jamie Sedlacek, Detroit Race director and Quicken Loans Director of team member engagement.
Those interested in participating in the run can start a team or join one already established.
Runners can also run solo, and all participants are not required to race in their underwear although costumes, pajamas and other Valentines-day related outfits are encouraged.
