Michigan Amber Alert issued for 2 kids taken in stolen vehicle near Flint

BURTON, Mich. – An Amber Alert has been issued for two children and a stolen vehicle near Flint.

UPDATE: Stolen car found in Flint, 2 kids are safe

A 3-year-old girl and a 9-month-old child were in a two-door Monte Carlo when it was stolen at about 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Admiral Gas Station on South Saginaw Street in Burton. 

Burton police said the boy, Lincoln Buning, has blue eyes and brown hair. He was wearing footie pajamas with trucks on them. He is about 22 pounds.

His sister, Arinna Buning, has long brown hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a pink coat, purple pants and blue snow boots. She is about 28 pounds.

The stolen vehicle is a 2000 dark blue Monte Carlo with tinted or darker windows. It has Michigan license plate DKZ 4121.

Suspect description

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt. He is also described as heavy-set, about 300 pounds and standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Burton police said the man was spotted on surveillance video walking along Saginaw Street just before the car was stolen.
