ROSEVILLE, Mich. – An investigation is underway after three separate pizza delivery drivers were robbed in Roseville.
Police said all three incidents took place in different buildings of the same apartment complex in the 17000 block of 13 Mile Road.
According to authorities, the delivery drivers are met at the exterior door of the common hallway by a young man when three other young men suddenly appear and assault the delivery person, making off with money and the pizza. A cell phone was taken in the most recent incident.
Delivery drivers suffered injuries, though none were taken for medical treatment.
The first incident happened April 5 at about 10 p.m. A 54-year-old Warren resident delivering pizza for Jets was robbed at the apartment complex.
The second robbery happened April 6 at about 11:30 p.m. A 25-year-old Clinton Township resident delivering pizza for Passport Pizza was robbed.
The third incident happened Sunday at about 12:30 a.m. A 46-year-old Shelby Township resident delivering pizza for Paparoni’s Pizza was robbed.
A weapon was not displayed during any of the incidents.
The men responsible were described as four younger black men. In the first incident, one of the men was said to have a beard.
