A disgruntled former employee shot and killed five people before taking his own life at his former place of work Monday morning near Orlando.

The Sheriff spoke during a news conference about 11 a.m. Monday. He explained a former disgruntled employee went to the Fiamma business, which provides products for RVs, and shot five people before taking his own life. Three men and one woman were killed at the business. A fourth man died at a hospital. There were seven other people in the business at the time of the attack.

The suspect is a 45-year-old man. Law enforcement said it does not appear he was part of any terroristic group.

"It appears this incident has nothing to do with any global terrorist activities," said Sheriff Jerry Demings.

The Sheriff said the shooter was fired from the business earlier this year. He was carrying a gun and a knife during Monday's attack on his former coworkers.

Demings said the shooter's and victims' names will be released Monday afternoon.
