ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – A St. Clair Shores man was arrested Thursday after he was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Police were called to the area of Harper Avenue and Masonic Boulevard regarding the 13-year-old girl's complaint. She provided officers with a description of the man, who was arrested at Kyte Monroe Park shortly afterward.
Charles Michaels, 34, of St. Clair Shores, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct of a person 13 to 15 years old.
Michaels was arraigned Friday and is being held on $5,000 bail.
