CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A passing motorist saw a peeping Tom standing outside a home Monday and snapped a picture before yelling at him in Chesterfield Township. Police took a suspect into custody Tuesday.
The motorist found the man at about 3:30 p.m. peeping inside the window of a home in the 25900 block of Rose Street. He told police the peeping Tom appeared to be exposing himself and was masturbating.

After snapping a picture, the motorist yelled out to him and the man walked away from the home.
Chesterfield Township officers were called to the home and were unable to locate the peeping Tom.
Police said the blinds to the window were closed and they did not receive a response at the door of the home.
Chesterfield Township police said a plain clothes officers went out to the area and found the man. He was taken into custody.
The man was described as Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old and has a stocky build. He was wearing an orange T-shirt, and black and gray shorts.
