TROY, Mich. – The Detroit Renegades, a professional eSports gaming team, will make an appearance at Somerset Collection with team owner and NBA player Jonas Jerebko on July 9.
Fans can challenge Jerebko and the Renegades for a chance to win gaming gear from HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc. The event will be at Somerset's Microsoft store.

Along with gaming, HyperX will demo its high-performance gaming gear, including the new HyperX Allow Elite gaming mechanical keyboard.
Jerebko, a former Piston who now plays for the Boston Celtics, calls Michigan home and recently bought the Renegades. The Renegades CS:GO and Overwatch teams live in Rochester, Mich., where they practice and train for gaming tournaments. Members of the University of Michigan eSports division will also be on-site to meet and talk with guests interested in learning more about eSports and competitive gaming. The event will be held noon to 2 p.m. at the Troy, Mich. Microsoft Store.
