VIDEO: Fiery explosion after vehicles collide on highway in Eastern China

A vehicle collision triggered a massive explosion on a highway in Eastern China Monday. Nobody was injured in the incident. The blast was captured on surveillance video.

A truck is parked on the side of the road as traffic moves alongside it. A van comes too close and clips the side of the truck, resulting in a fiery explosion that engulfs all lanes of the highway.

According to state media, the accident took place in Hangzhou City. There were no casualties.

The truck was parked on the side of the road after breaking down. The van was carrying coating products and paper.

An investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway.
