Detroit Elections 2017: Mayoral primary candidates

City voters will head to the polls on Aug. 8 for a primary election that will determine which candidates advance to the Nov. 7 General Election. Mayor is among the offices up for election. Eight candidates are running for the office, including incumbent Mayor Mike Duggan. The top two vote-getters will advance to the General Election. 

Citizen Detroit, a community forum established at Wayne State University, recorded videos with all eight candidates running for Detroit's top office. Watch the videos below.
