Police in Utah have released dashcam footage of head-on collision last week that erupted into a massive fireball and left one driver dead.
Footage of the explosion was captured by two separate police cruisers. The footage shows officers in pursuit of a pickup truck when the vehicle suddenly swerves and hits an oncoming semi. A fireball erupts from the impact and black smoke pours into the air.

According to KUTV, the driver of the pickup truck, 26-year-old Marcos Torres, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck leapt from the vehicle on fire. A Utah Highway Patrol trooper extinguished the flames and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police were trailing the pickup truck after several 911 calls of reckless and erratic driving. Police attempted to pull over the suspect, but he appeared to disregard the officers.
The semi-truck was loaded with sand. The explosion was caused by the speed and force of the impact.
