U-Haul used to smash through front of pharmacy in Southwest Detroit

DETROIT – Detectives from the Detroit Police Department are investigating a break-in Wednesday morning at a pharmacy Southwest Detroit.

The thieves used a U-Haul to smash through the front of the store at Vernor Highway near Livernois Avenue and dumped the truck a few blocks away from the scene.

It is unclear what was taken from the pharmacy.

The business owner said the pharmacy has been broken into multiple times before and that he will close the business after this most recent incident.
