VIDEO: SUV speeds into parking space, hitting three people near Boston

Three people were injured near Boston when an SUV backed into them over the weekend. The shocking incident was captured on surveillance video.

Footage shows the driver preparing to back into a parking space in Waltham, Massachusetts. Two people are walking behind the vehicle and the driver apparently fails to see them. The driver speeds in reverse, hitting the two people and flying over the curb, hitting a third person on the sidewalk.

The driver then lurches the vehicle forward, nearly running over one person who appears to be pinned beneath the car.

According to WBTS-LD, the three were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is not clear if the driver will face charges.
