Detroit's Western International High School briefly evacuated due to fire

DETROIT – A Detroit high school was briefly evacuated Friday afternoon due to a fire.

According to Detroit Public Schools Community District, the fire happened in a bathroom at Western International High School. 

The school was evacuated and students returned to class after less than an hour.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
