Kid Rock says he's not running for US Senate in Michigan

DETROIT – Kid Rock is not running for U.S. Senate in Michigan after all.

The musician had been teasing a possible run against Debbie Stabenow in Michigan, but now says he's not going to take the political plunge.

Kid Rock was on Howard Stern's show on Tuesday and was asked if he was running.

"F-- no I'm not running for senate," Kid Rock said. "Who couldn't figure that out?"
