New Holland Brewing releasing 20% ABV beer on Black Friday in honor of 20th anniversary

HOLLAND, Mich. – In celebration of its 20th year, Michigan-based New Holland Brewing announced a 20 percent ABV ale, that will be released on Nov. 24.

The extremely limited Anniversary Ale has notes of vanilla and the spice of rum.

“We aged this ale in rum barrels for almost a year, and the results are phenomenal. The rum character really shines though and complements the beer,” said brewery production manager Jason Salas.

The beer will come in 22-ounce wax-dipped bottles, and can only be purchased at select retailers.

New Holland's brewpub locations, Pub on 8th in Holland and The Knickerbocker in Grand Rapids, will have bottles for sale, as well as the only draft pours nationwide.
