Sterling Heights considering plans for redevelopment of Lakeside Mall City wants plan in case mall closes
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – As shopping malls around the country fall victim to online shopping, the city of Sterling Heights is working to reimagine Lakeside Mall.
If the mall shutters, the city wants to be prepared with a plan for the mall that sits on Hall Road. Potential ideas for the space include residential use and offices.
The consulting firm will help come up with a definitive plan.
