NBC News: White House lockdown lifted after ‘airspace violation’ in Washington DC
WASHINGTON – The White House is on lockdown as of 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to NBC News. The lockdown has been lifted.
NBC News reports: Airspace violation reported in Washington, DC, and fighter jets have been scrambled.
US Northern Command: NORAD Command have tasked aircraft to respond to the security alert in Washington, DC.
UPDATE: NBC News White House team says the lockdown has been LIFTED indicating that there’s no hostile threat there at this time.
