DETROIT – An armed man carjacked a woman's vehicle early Sunday on Detroit's west side.
The woman told police she was approached by the man while walking to her car in the area of West Chicago Boulevard and Linwood Street. He told her to get into her vehicle, start it and get out.

Police said a man took the 55-year-old victim's 2004 silver Pontiac Grand Prix, cell phone and a wallet with her credit cards.
He fled eastbound on West Chicago.
The man is described as black, about 180 pounds and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black mask and dark clothing.
