YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A father and son were stabbed while they slept during a home invasion Sunday in Ypsilanti Township.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office said the home invasion happened at about 5:30 a.m. in the 500 block of North Harris Road.

An 18-year-old man and a 64-year-old man were sleeping when a woman entered their home through the front door and demanded money. One of the men was stabbed in the chest and head, and the other man was stabbed in the chest and forearm.
Both victims were taken to St. Joseph Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The woman was described in her mid-30’s with an average build. She was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
