Multiple lanes of I-75 blocked in Southwest Detroit after semi smashes into median

DETROIT – A semi crash has closed several lanes of I-75 in both directions at Schaefer Highway in Southwest Detroit.

The semi smashed into the median wall, spreading debris.

Currently, only the left lane going northbound and right lane going southbound are open as emergency crews cleanup the scene.
