Devin Scillian goes 1-on-1 with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to discuss state’s plan to grow

Devin Scillian went one-on-one with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to discuss why growing the state’s population will be a considerable focus moving forward.

Last week, Whitmer’s council on growing Michigan’s population reported what’s wrong and what needs to be done.

On Tuesday (Dec. 19), he had a chance to sit down with Whitmer to talk about it and about the council’s first order of business, which is to convince us all that this is a crisis.

They also discussed trying to accomplish those things during such fraught political divides. The conversation also included Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist.
