Henry Ford II High School student held without bond for alleged sexual assault School says incident appears to be isolated
A Henry Ford II High School student has been held without bond for allegedly sexually assaulting another student.
The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday
The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office charged the teen with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree (15-year felony).
The prosecutor’s office motioned to waive the case to the Macomb County Circuit Court, where the 17-year-old can be tried as an adult.
His next court date is Monday (Jan. 8) at 8:30 a.m.
“This is a serious crime, and we will treat it as such. We will continue to pursue justice and seek accountability for the victim,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
