Residents urged to shelter in place as Marine City police handle barricaded gunman incident

MARINE CITY, Mich. – The Marine City Police Department is on the scene of a barricaded gunman, and they’re asking all residents to shelter in place.

The incident occurred on Monday (Feb. 26) in the 300 block of S. Belle River Avenue and the 500 block of E. St. Clair Street at 7:43 p.m.

Officials say the situation is an ongoing investigation as officers remain on the scene.
