Child without seatbelt critically injured in Macomb County crash

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A child was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after a Macomb Township crash Friday, Aug. 30.
According to authorities, a Ford F-150 drove off 21 Mile Road, near Tilch Road, drove down an embankment and crashed just before 1 p.m. An unrestrained child in the vehicle was rushed to a hospital in critical condition before being transported to Children’s Hospital.
The driver was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
