WARREN, Mich. – A 40-year-old woman collided with a construction sign, several barricades, and a light pole before stopping in front of the construction site for the new fire station in Warren.
The incident occurred on Friday (Oct. 4) in the 23211 block of Van Dyke Avenue.

Officials said Warren police officers assisted the Warren Fire Department crews to extricate the injured driver from the vehicle.
Warren firefighters administered advanced life support treatment before the woman was transported to Ascension Saint John Macomb Hospital for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation.
