MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A juvenile driver crashed their car into a Macomb County restaurant Tuesday evening, injuring an employee.
On Nov. 12, 2024, at around 7:30 p.m., the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said a juvenile driver with a parent passenger accidentally drove straight into Nori’s Restaurant on Hayes Road near 21 Mile Road.
The SUV caused significant damage and stopped in the dining area. A 19-year-old woman was struck by the car. She was transported to a local hospital and is currently stable.
The sheriff’s office said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
