Of all fast food places, Michigan men chose this restaurant to take a first date

First dates can be nerve-racking. It can also be expensive. One survey asked men nationwide what fast food joint they would take a first date.

DatingNews.com surveyed 3,000 American men and found that 16% of men overall chose Chick-fil-A as their number one choice. The anti-beef restaurant was the number one choice overall in Michigan.

In the survey, Dairy Queen, Sonic Drive-In and Pizza Hut followed Chick-fil-A.

It’s rather strange men chose possibly the most expensive fast-food place as their top pick, but what other options do they have?

The average price of a Chick-fil-A combo meal is about $13. That’s a $26 date. In comparison, Sonic Drive-In combo meals are on average $6. That’s about a $12 date.

Men, women likely to say yes to fast-food date

According to the survey, 54% of men and 66% of women would say yes to a fast-food date.

First dates appear to be more casual nowadays, so it makes sense the first place to go is a fast-food restaurant. The survey also said 41% of people are fine with going anywhere as long as it has good vibes and the date is committed to making it fun.
