MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A woman died after a rollover crash in Macomb County Monday evening.
The crash happened just before 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 9, 2024, at the intersection of Hayes Road and Snowbird Drive.

After reviewing camera footage in the area, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office said a pickup truck driving southbound on Hayes Road veered left, allegedly crossed the center turn lane into oncoming northbound traffic and struck a car head-on.
The car rolled over multiple times before stopping upside down on the grass along northbound Hayes Road. The driver, a 45-year-old woman from Shelby Township, died at the scene. She was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
