Volunteers spread joy with annual shopping event for Metro Detroit kids

LIVONIA, Mich. – ABC Student Transportation organized its annual holiday shopping event at a Walmart in Livonia, where nearly 400 Detroit students from kindergarten to 8th grade were paired with volunteers for a morning of shopping.

The event on Saturday, Dec. 21, aimed to spread holiday cheer and provide joy to the children, some of whom chose gifts for their parents instead of themselves.
