A 15-year-old and their parents have been charged in the death of an 87-year-old man who died after being struck by a child on a dirt bike.
It happened at dusk on March 1 in Presque Isle County. A Michigan State Police trooper reportedly watched it happen.
According to authorities, the 87-year-old man with a flash light crossed the road to check his mail when he was hit by a teen on a dirt bike that was speeding down the road without a headlight.
He was airlifted to a hospital, where he died four days later.
