Holland’s Tulip Time Festival starts on Friday The annual festival returns for its 96th year

HOLLAND, Mich. – The 96th annual Tulip Time in Holland is back. The festival celebrates Dutch heritage and tulips over 10 days (May 2 -11). A variety of events and activities take place in different locations around the city.
People visit Holland year after year to see the millions of tulips planted throughout the city. The flowers are not found in one singular area.
Here is a list of areas you can see tulips :
Centennial Park (250 S. River Ave.)
Downtown Holland
Window on the Waterfront Park (111 E. 6th St.)
Tulip Lanes
Windmill Island Gardens (1 Lincoln Ave.)
Nelis’ Dutch Village (12350 James St.)
Veldheers Tulip Farm and De Klomp Wooden Shoe & Delft Factory (12775 Quincy St.)
Throughout the festival, there are a variety of events and activities to enjoy. People enjoy Dutch dancing, parks, museums, and much more. The daily schedule of events is on the Tulip Time website.
Another big event this year is a performance by Rodney Atkins. His concert is at the Central Wesleyan Church on Friday, May 9, from 7 pm - 8:30 pm. Tickets are $58 and are available for purchase online.
