Michigan man charged in child porn case involving multiple victims across multiple states 5 child victims across 4 states

JACKSON, Mich. – A 42-year-old man from Jackson is facing multiple felonies related to sex crimes against children.
According to authorities , John Richard Ess was arrested by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office after an investigation that revealed five victims under the age of 18 across four states.
Ess has been charged with two counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, one count of possession of child sexually abusive material, three counts of using a computer to commit a crime and one count of resisting and obstructing arrest.
His bond was set at $100,000.
