Weather: Brief cooldown ahead of a beautiful weekend in Metro Detroit

Cooler than average conditions have briefly settled in behind yesterday’s cold front.

We are waking up to a few isolated sprinkles, but most of us are dry. High pressure will build into the region from Canada today resulting in breaking clouds giving way to sunshine.

We will be a bit breezy, so a slight wind chill will likely make us feel no warmer than the 50s today. As temperatures slide into the 30s tonight, some areas could see patchy frost develop overnight.
