Shell casings have marked the scene of gunfire in the parking lot of Martin Luther King High School on Detroit’s east side.

The incident occurred on Thursday (May 29) around 9 p.m. on the Lafayette side, but no one was hit, according to police.

Body pulled from Clinton River in Macomb County

A dead body was pulled from the Clinton River in Mount Clemens on Thursday.

According to authorities, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at about 2:30 p.m. from someone regarding a possible body in the Clinton River, under the Gratiot Avenue Bridge.

Scattered to numerous showers possibly develop late this afternoon/early evening along a cold front with a chance of a few embedded non-severe thunderstorms. The scattered rain chances increase from north to south after 4pm. The wet weather moves out before midnight.
